Our environmental team has over 30 years of experience in providing custom tailored services and strategic guidance for the development of recreational projects in sensitive environments. We work closely with public agency staff, planners, designers, and other specialists, while helping our clients navigate the extensive approvals processes, beginning with on-site fieldwork and ending with permits and implementation. Our specialized services include:

Ski NEPA-We are recognized as the industry leader in National Environmental Policy Act compliance issues. Working with public agencies, we have helped hundreds of ski areas navigate the full spectrum of governmental laws and regulations to obtain necessary approvals and permits.

Environmental Inventories and Surveys-We bring strategic "big picture" thinking to the early planning process by identifying environmental opportunities as well as solutions to address key resource constraints, including Endangered Species Act analysis and compliance.

Wetlands Delineation and Permitting-Our professional wetlands specialists are well-versed in the regulatory framework surrounding wetlands, streams and other water resources, beginning with delineation and ending with mitigation and permitting.

Water Resources-Our hydrology and fisheries experts use the latest hydrologic computer analysis and modeling techniques to provide strategic solutions for stormwater planning, water quality monitoring, hydrologic inventories, stream health analysis, stream restoration, minimum streamflow protection, water rights and reservoir planning.

Visual Analysis-We utilize cutting-edge technology to create photo-quality, two and three dimensional visual simulations. Our visual analyses have been instrumental in facilitating numerous state and federal project approvals.
