SE Group is working with Seattle-based architects Shugart-Bates to help create an active urban landscape for Home For Good, a Not-For-Profit company working to create affordable, for ownership, housing that is sustainable, strongly rooted in the community, and well designed for both the residents and the neighborhood. The initial Ballard Neighborhood project strives to enhance the community by creating viable and thoughtful community based residential design through materials, massing, public open space, sustainable building and innovative site design. The landscape includes community gardens, rainwater irrigation and cisterns, green roofs and addresses the complexities of the “Green Factor” regulations imposed by the City of Seattle.
