Stowe Mountain Resort is the quintessential Vermont ski area.  Classic in both its mountain terrain and ski experience and more recently in it’s under construction Spruce Peak development.  SE GROUP is pleased to be working with Stowe on this important project.

Mountain planning at Stowe is an exercise in balance.  Balancing the interests of world class terrain with skiers of varying abilities; balancing circulation between two major bases; and balancing terrain and real estate expansion with environmental constraints.  SE GROUP has worked closely with all the major players to plan and design lift and trail improvements that connect skiers across the resort.  It has done so while providing support in permitting and design that preserves the essence of Stowe and the spirit of environmental sensitivity.

Our land planning and design staff has been instrumental in the development of the Spruce Peak at Stowe project.  Our designs for site and landscape improvement are evocative to this mission; simple and understated, yet unique to Stowe and Vermont. Working collaboratively with mountain planning teams and the client’s team of architects, engineers and lift manufacturers, SE GROUP has assumed the role of coordinator, orchestrating these various players in the detailed design process that is unfolding.  In this complex environment, where accuracy is measured in tenths of inches, SE is assuring that as designs are realized, they continue to work efficiently and create the foundation for a new legacy at Stowe.
